MEET OUR AMAZING STAFF

Hi, I’m Emily!
I grew up as a missionary kid in Odesa, Ukraine and received my BFA in illustration from Winthrop University.
I love using pencils, inks, gouache, and digital media to illustrate fantastical characters and backgrounds inspired by unique cultures, histories, and creatures. With my art, I hope to encourage others to view life as extraordinary by sharing the joy my Creator has infused into our everyday ordinary.

My name is Rylie and I’m a self taught artist from northwest Indiana. Growing up, I would watch my dad repurpose scrap materials to build or fix something instead of buying it pre-made. Inevitably, I adopted the same mindset; messing around with different art supplies eventually led me to printmaking.

I started with some mesh tulle for screen printing and rubber erasers for carving and I was hooked! Since then, I’ve upgraded to proper equipment (mostly) and have also dabbled with other techniques like cyanotype and gelli plate. Aside from printing, I also enjoy doing collage work and fine line pen drawings.

By sharing my experience, I hope to encourage those who may doubt their artistic abilities and those who might not know where to start. Art is for everyone and can be made from anything!

Hi, I’m Mary,

Originally from the Midwest, working in art has been a constant part of my life. Is there anything better than a new box of crayons, paint, pastels, or colored pencils? I think not! My preferred subjects are landscapes & still life. But the variety of collage patterns never fails to catch my eye. There is random beauty in our everyday existence. May current work is in water color but I have extensive experience in bot pastel & acrylic. Loving the creative process and staying open to learning are my life goals.

HI! I’m Mars. I am an interdisciplinary artist currently studying at Winthrop University in the Department of Fine Arts here in Rock Hill. My art centered around sculpture, painting, and drawing that uses experimental and tentative processes to examine life and the vastness of creativity. I founder of the Artist Guild at Winthrop as well as the co-founder of the “Rising Artists of Winthrop”, a student born art club dedicated to building portfolios, social connections, and creative experiences within the student body.

At Blue Goose Art Supply, we are a husband-and-wife team driven by a shared passion for creativity and community. As artists ourselves, we understand the joy of finding the perfect tools to bring ideas to life. Our store is a reflection of our love for art and the creative process, offering a curated selection of quality materials for every artist—from beginners to professionals. We believe in fostering inspiration and connection, creating a space where creativity soars.
